New life has been breathed into an old favourite here in Overton. Following a careful and considered refurbishment to revitalise the unique character and charm of this historic pub, The White Hart has been lovingly restored, creating a welcoming haven for locals and visitors alike.

At The White Hart, you can enjoy a swift half out on our sun-trapped garden patio or head inside to the warmth of our snug or ‘Village Bar’, which is adorned with pictures of Overton from years gone by. For a leisurely meal with friends, our head chef offers an exciting menu – created from fresh, seasonal and locally sourced produce – of classic yet modern pub dishes.

If you’re travelling through on business in nearby Basingstoke or Winchester, or are in need of a weekend base to explore Overton and its stunning surrounds, we are delighted to offer 12 stylish new en-suite bedrooms, each individually designed, mixing traditional with a modern, quirky twist.
